Hot on the heels of the announcement of a new chief marketing officer (CMO), the Findus Group has strengthened its marketing resource still further with the appointment of Nick Jackson to the new role of consumer development director.
Reporting to new CMO, Leendert den Hollander, Nick will be responsible for consumer insight for the Findus Group and its key food brands, Young’s Seafood and Findus. He will manage the development of new categories, enabling the Group to build its portfolios effectively in line with changing consumer demands.
Prior to this announcement, Nick Jackson spent sixteen years with global consultancy firm, Bain & Company, in London - most recently as a partner in charge of Bain’s Consumer Products practice. Before joining Bain, Nick held various brand management roles, working on branded goods in both the UK and continental Europe. Chris Britton, chief executive of the Findus Group commented, “This is another key appointment for us as we build resource to take our business to its next stage. Nick Jackson has spent more than two decades guiding the development and growth of major consumer brands and we are delighted that he has chosen to bring that fantastic experience to the Findus Group.”
