| New Group MD for Findus UK Frozen businesses |

The Findus Group has announced the appointment of Mark Escolme as group managing director for its UK frozen businesses – Young’s Seafood and Findus UK.
Mark Escolme is a senior international FMCG industry manager with 20 years’ experience working for major brands and companies in the UK and overseas. Prior to joining the Findus Group he was most recently group MD for the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand with S.C. Johnson. During his career Mark has also led innovation teams in the US and been involved in setting up businesses in emerging markets including Russia, China, India and Africa.
Chief executive of the Findus Group, Chris Britton, said, “Mark brings with him some superb experience and we are delighted to welcome him to the Group. His record of success in growing both established businesses and new ventures will be very valuable to the continued success of Young’s and also in supporting the growth in the UK of the Findus frozen brand, which is being relaunched this autumn.”

Notes for editors
After graduating from Plymouth University with an honours degree in Business Studies and a Diploma in Marketing, Mark Escolme started his career at Spillers Foods before first joining S.C. Johnson UK in 1994. Mark is 43 and married with two children.
